Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

We made our goal for the day.

🎈     🎈
I was up and out the door by 6:15 and on my walk.
50 degrees with clouds and a bit of sun.

Started walking the Farm Loop but was greeted by three dogs running
towards me so I backed up and went back the way I came.

Ended up walking around the industrial park and then around town
before going back home.

This hill of daises is about a quarter of a mile long along the main road.
 Walked 6 miles
🎈     🎈
Only 4 of us showed up at the coloring group at the library last night but I
enjoyed it and look forward to going again in a couple of weeks.

It's been a long day today.
Right after breakfast we headed out to church for Fingerprint day and
was there at 9:00.  Worked till lunch and then Ken and I left for a break and
picked up a Subway sandwich and ate it in the car here by the water.
Back to church for more work and we stayed till 9:15 this evening.
We took time out for supper and had pizza at the church.
People came and went all day and I'm happy to say that we made our goal for the day
so should be able to finish all 20,000 by tomorrow night.
I did get to color in the squares as we completed the boxes.
The red box indicates the half way point.
That is it for the day. We are both tired and are off to bed now at 11:15.

Tomorrow will be another day like today.
Life is Good
A happy day to you.

What a productive day you had! But how worth it will be. I don't blame you for backing off from the dogs. Where I walk Mandy there are several dogs but they are behind a fence. Mandy is still pretty wary of them though. Have a great weekend.

Perfectly delightful day except for the three dogs on the loose. Do you complain to the Town Office about them or just let it go? (I complain, but I think you let it go. 😊) I am glad that you enjoyed the coloring evening...perhaps word of mouth will bring in a few more next time. Sounds wonderfully relaxing to me.
