Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Inside

🌻     🌻
This morning the thermometer read 52 degrees and looking out the window
it just looked cloudy but there was a very light drizzle in the air.
Thought about going back in for my rain pants and slicker but decided not to
so I ended up being a bit damp.
Crazy mixture of drizzle, sun, and wind during all of my walk.
Walked behind my house, around town, the cemeteries and the
ball park loop.  This is the stream by the ball park.
Didn't see anyone else out walking or running.
Walked 6.2 miles
🌻     🌻
Sun and clouds all day and very windy.
Ken went up to Happy Trails right after breakfast to finish burning up
the wood from the trailer that we started yesterday.

I figured I'd better stay home and get some things done
inside the house today.

I found some time to read my book too.

A happy day to you.

Tom - We used Ondura on the cabin roof, which is corrugated asphalt panels.  I've not heard of Onduline but it sure sounds similar.

Sharon - Oh no, we will not be moving in the cabin at HT.  It is only a dry one room cabin and just a little retreat up in the woods for us.  That it is only 3 miles away makes it VERY NICE.

Prunella - We have many on going projects up at HT 😊 but the next big one will be building an Outhouse!!  That will be next year.

The photos are beautiful, but then I love rainy weather. I've been looking down like you lately and found 26 cents today.

Lovely photos you captured on your walk.

It was windy today, wasn't it! I had an eye appointment in Morgantown this morning and then ran to Aldi afterward to pick up a few things. I was back home around noon and that is when the wind really picked up here!
