Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

JESUS

Romans 3:28
For ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

Romans 6:23
The wages of sin is DEATH, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 5:8
But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 10:9-10
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 10:13
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

If you haven't already, I pray you accept God's gift today.
A Blessed Sunday to you all.
Jesus loves you.

GREAT post, Karen! Our message this morning was from John 14:6 about Jesus being THE Way, THE Truth and THE Life.

This is so true. So many people think their good deeds will get them a ticket to heaven but there is only one way in and thats through accepting Christ as your personal savor.

A wonderful truthful message! As one has noted, 'Other religions preach what one must DO to inherit eternal life but Jesus has DONE it all as the only Saviour we need!"

I once heard a pastor preach a sermon about the value of baking cookies and taking them to a neighbor. He said that it was a key to heaven. Poor misguided man... Great list and I hope that it is a thought-provoking one for some of those who read here.

I think the things that you listed are important, too. It is awe-inspiring what Jesus did for us so long ago.
