Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Another puzzle finished

🌻     🌻     🌻
This morning it was 16 degrees, so a bit colder than yesterday!!
I bundled up though in all my many layers and stayed nice and warm.
My toes were a bit cold though by the time I got back home.

Started out walking on the roads behind my house again and then went
over to the post office to mail a card.  My youngest grandson Japhy
has a birthday coming up next week.  Hard to believe he will be 11.
Walked around town and both of the cemeteries.
This is one of my turn around places up the street past the library,
a circle at the end of the road.
No Kathy again.  She must be out of town.  Haven't seen her since
just before Christmas.
As I was headed home I saw Lisa just starting her morning run.

Walked 6.2 miles

By mid morning there was no more sun and a few snow flurries were seen
and by the afternoon it was snowing.  Just a few inches expected.

Another day at home.
A bit of house cleaning got done
and I finished the puzzle today.
It was a fun one to do and my favorite so far this year.  1000 pieces.
Ken left to help out at the church and will be there through suppertime
so I'm on my own for supper tonight.
I'm going to make myself some blueberry pancakes.
I often have that when I'm by myself.  Ken doesn't like breakfast for supper.
I will splurge and even put some whipped cream on top.

Then I'll do a little more reading.

A smile from me to you.

I REALLY like that puzzle! I could spend hours in a book store! Thank you for sharing the picture of it, Karen.

We ended up with maybe 3-4 inches of snow yesterday. I'm guessing you probably got a bit more than that.

I keep forgetting to mention to you, but I am back in the blogging community again. I have the time to devote to it again.

You have inspired me to pick up a puzzle today. A great winter activity, I think.

Oh, I love the puzzle- I used to do them all the time. Now I do them on my ipad..not quite the same, but fun, still. Pancakes of any sort sounds good to me. Have a wonderful weekend!
