Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Sunday

Snowy Stones
⛪     ⛪
It is December so it is the last Bible verse that we will be
learning this year at my church.
An easy one this month.

Romans 8:31
What shall we then say to these things?
If God be for us, who can be against us?

🎶   🎶
One of my favorite Christmas songs.

Away in a Manager

Away in a Manger,
No crib for His bed,
The little Lord Jesus
Lay down his sweet head.
The stars in the bright sky
Look down where He lay,
The little Lord Jesus
Asleep on the hay.

The cattle are lowing,
The poor Baby wakes,
But little Lord Jesus,
No crying He makes.
I love Thee, Lord Jesus;
Look down from the sky
And stay by my cradle
Till morning is nigh.

Be near me, Lord Jesus;
I ask Thee to stay
Close by me forever
And love me I pray.
Bless all the dear children
In Thy tender care,
And fit us for Heaven
To live with Thee there.
 ðŸŽ¶   🎶
A blessed Sunday to you.

Such a pretty post. I love that song too but don't think I have ever actually read all the words. Thank you! Love, Henny

More snow! Yay it looks so Christmasy now!
'Away in a manger' is one of the sweetest carols!

Love love love your SNOW.... I wish we could get some --but it just doesn't seem to happen here especially in December.

We have been listening to great Christmas Music since our Thanksgiving trip... I love the 'new' Christmas songs --but I truly LOVE the old Christmas Hymns, like Away in a Manger.....

Love your blog LOOK.... PRETTY.

I published a blog post today--so check it out when you have time.

Hugs and Merry Christmas,
Betsy
