Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Smile

This made me smile.
 ðŸ˜Š     😊     😊
We were supposed to get some freezing rain last night so I was pleasantly
surprised when I got up this morning and it was dry.
32 degrees, cloudy and very windy for my walk this morning.

Walked around behind my house and through town,
around the cemeteries, the ball park loop and around town again.

It didn't stay dry for all of my walk.  The last two miles it started raining
but with the temperature at 32 the rain started freezing on the trees.
We should be getting snow this time of year.

Kathy and I ran into each other 4 times walking and we stopped to talk each time.
She made it back to her car just as it was starting to rain.
No one else out walking.

Walked 6 miles
Found a dime and a penny
🚶     🚶     🚶
It's been a rainy day with the temperature hovering around freezing and the
trees continue to get ice building up on them.

We took a day off from bowling this week,
but we did head out to pick up a few things from the Shop & Save and
had stopped at Subway for lunch.

I baked some yummy Banana Muffins with a couple of bananas
that had seen better days.
It was hard not to eat one but I put them ALL in the freezer.

Finished the next puzzle (4).
Only 300 pieces so it was easy.
Did a bit of house work too and though I haven't written out any
Christmas cards I did write out my list.
A happy day do you.

Hi Karen, love your recent jigsaw puzzle.
We are in for some rain this evening and overnight.
I made banana muffins on Sunday and yes the best thing to do is to freeze them! They are delicious.
Have a good evening.

Minions are made to make you smile & I like this one all ready for Christmas!
Your latest jigsaw is really pretty too. More my kind of size!

Makes me smile as well. My grandsons would smile, too, as your grandkids would. Hope that your weather shifts soon before wires and trees get too badly coated. Dangerous stuff. It snowed yesterday and will snow again tomorrow. I made a run for it today between the flakes. Feeling better about my accomplishments. That's a cute puzzle with the chipmunk. Oh, I'm baking your chocolate chippers tomorrow!

The weather's been cold and rainy today. Rob has a temp job working outside; I expect him to come home pretty soon!...That's the cutest puzzle I've ever seen!

That minion made me smile too !

The puzzle looks another good one, and sometimes it's nice just to have an easier one to do.

I was full of good intention to start writing my Christmas Cards over the weekend - but I never started them! Still plenty of time it's only early December!

All the best Jan

I am probably your only reader who does not what a minion is. I found out by reading the comments. I like the cute puzzle.

Made me smile too :).
Man have you ever got good willpower. I'm pretty sure I couldn't put all of the muffins in the freezer.
Your chipmunk puzzle is adorable and seemed to go together lickety split.

Cute Minion. haha. This will be the first time in 20 years that I have not written any Christmas cards. I usually do about 30. I just wanted to give it a break this year.

Minions bring a smile to many. :D Pretty chipmunk puzzle. Bananas that "have seen better days" don't tempt me to eat them--except to freeze for smoothies or bake with them.

I always thought I'd feel much different at 18, still felt the same I did as I was 12. Adults just seemed much more confident back when you're little but I suspect most of them felt like kids on the inside when it came to troubles in life.
