Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Puzzle #5

⛄     ⛄     ⛄
This mornings walk was a windy, snowy one and 18 degrees
but I stayed warm in all my layers!!
It was cold so the snow is very light and the wind just blows it
all around.  It snowed all day and we just have a few inches.

Walked on the roads behind my house and around town,
and around both cemeteries.

No Kathy today but I did see another man all bundled up
and out walking too.

Walked 6.2 miles
⛄     ⛄     ⛄
I baked Pumpkin Bread today.  6 little loaves and they will be
given away as little Christmas gifts to people around town.

Wrote out more Christmas cards and I am happy to say that I finished them.
Just have to get to the post office to mail them.

Finished puzzle number 5 and so far this one is my favorite.
It was another 500 piece one.
I made us some Baked Ziti for supper this evening.

Tonight I'll read for a while,
then watch Netflix and have my ice cream snack,
then knit on my Mom's scarf.
 A happy day to you.

Oh my I love this puzzle, so sweet!

I think we were doing the same thing today, because I too finished writing our Christmas Cards ... all ready for mailing.
Over the weekend we plan to put our decorations up, not too many but the colour theme is red, such a warm and perfect colour for this time of year. Well I think so!

Enjoy the remainder of Friday and all good wishes for the weekend ahead.

All the best Jan

I managed to address all my envelopes. Now all I have to do is sign cards and add my photo and letter to them. Thanks for inspiring me. Have a good weekend.

I got all our Christmas cards done too, as well as a box for our son and his wifw.

Now that is the truth, Erma! It was some brisk here this afternoon with the wind just howling. A day not to leave one's grocery cart unattended in the parking lot for even a second.

Cold indeed but you are so dedicated and it does make you feel good to walk even in the snow!
Sweet new puzzle finish!
My hubby must be the one in 3 billion as he'd o in for the loaf and that would be it!

Hello, pretty scenes with the snow. I love the doggie puzzle. It is chilly here in Florida this morning. Your pumpkin bread sounds delicious. Happy weekend to you!

Your walking photos this morning had me shivering but they are so pretty. I certainly admire your fortitude in cold weather to be out walking so early! The puzzle is so cute. What do you do with them after they are completed?

Lovely puzzle Karen, so sweet.
Our walks for the last couple days have been cold too. Tomorrow might be our last with no snow. Must dig out my boots!
I love pumpkin bread too. I found a new recipe a couple months ago and really enjoy making it.
Take care!
