Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Wednesday

🐄     🐄     🐄     🐄
Woke up a bit early today and was outside walking at 6:15.
It was 52 degrees and dark.  Walked around town to stay under the street lights.
Then when it lighted up a bit I walked up Sale Barn Rd a ways and then down
toward Happy Trails.  Back to town and around the cemeteries and the ball park loop.

No color to the sunrise this morning but it was nice to see it come over the mountain.
 Spotted these two spider webs.

Didn't see anyone else out walking and it was pretty quiet all over town.
But still any morning that starts with a walk is a good one. 😊
Walked 6.4 miles
Sunrise 7:04
Sunset 7:15
🚶     🚶     🚶     🚶
I stayed home this morning and got some laundry done and a couple of other things while Ken went up to Happy Trails.
He was home for lunch and then we went out to do a few errands.
Picked up a rug remnant and some vinyl flooring cheap from a flooring store.
When we use it I'll post about it.
An interesting use for the vinyl flooring I heard about from a friend.

Well that's about it for today.

A happy day to you.

Henny - the squares are made on a 4 inch loom called a weave-it.  You can see and read about them on this POST.  You can also scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the link Weave-its to learn more about it.

you've peeked our curiosity now! looking forward to seeing what you plan to do. I saw some placed under the kitchen sink on one blog and thought that was a splendid idea.

This time of year is good for seeing spider webs ... and the work that goes into making one, so intricate.
I like the two photo's of them you've included on your post.

All the best Jan

Suas fotos ficaram divinas, difícil fotografar uma teia de aranha nessa posição, e você engradou muito bem. Essas caminhadas pela manhã nos reserva boas surpresa pra fotografar.
Gostei de passar aqui.
Um abraço!

Wow, I thought 6:15 was pretty early for a walk. It's dark here at that hour now as well. You are one early bird! Surprising to hear it was only 52 degrees. Today was pretty hot here in Iowa, 85 degrees a couple hours ago! Our low for today was 70, but it's supposed to cool down considerably next week. I'm loving this Indian summer! Those spider webs are very impressive! Someone obviously went to a lot of work. Enjoyed your post.

Wonderful pictures of the spider webs!! I missed my chance on Monday morning when there was a beautiful one in the yard. I waited too late to head out with my camera.:-( Anxious to hear what kind of project you will have underway with that flooring.

Wonderful spider web photos! We walk in the dark now too, 5:30-6:00 a.m so not much photo taking going on then! Looking forward to your post about the vinyl flooring. Take care.

Spider webs are amazing! I just don't like the little critters that inhabit them. Always enjoy taking walks with you here. Have a great day.

We had the same cobweb effect over the hedges this morning & they are mesmerising & delicate!
Now you've got me wondering about the vinyl flooring!

Translated from Portuguese, but don't know what 'engradou' means.

Your photos were divine, hard shooting a spider in that position, and you engradou very well. These morning walks holds good surprise for photographing.
I like to go here.
A hug!

Spiders webs are very pretty as long as they're not wrapped around your head as is what happens to me occasionally!
The mornings are getting noticeably darker now. Love the colours of Autumn though. Have a wonderful weekend Happyone :)
