Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A thoughtful teen

✿     ✿     ✿     ✿
Started walking in a misty rain but that was only for a few minutes.  Then the rain stopped and it was a mixture of sun and clouds.  Very windy again and the clouds flew across the sky.  It was a bit chilly at first with the rain, wind and only 37 degrees.  But it doesn't take me long to warm up once I get walking.

Walked pretty much the same route around town as I did yesterday.

No people out walking again but today there were 3 people fishing at the pond.
School opens again today so I had the usual bus drivers waving at me as I walked along.

Saw three deer up at the park in the woods bouncing along.

Walked 6 miles.

I look forward to Tuesdays when we go bowling. There were 7 of us there today.  My bowling scores for the day were 111, 147, 155, and 113 in that order.

Made a few stops after bowling before getting home.  Had to stop by the church for a few minutes, then we went to Walmart and the Shop and Save.
I had put supper in the crock pot before we left this morning which made it nice when we came home.  No cooking. : )  Didn't get home until 5:45 so it was nice to have supper done.

One of the teens from church touched my heart the other day.  For no reason she gave me a cookie cutter in the shape of a train.  She had been to the house to see the trains so knew about the trains.  She knows I like to bake too so it was the perfect thing to give me.  It was such a thoughtful thing to do.  Nice to know there are kind and considerate teens around too. : )
You can imagine how I'll say thank you to her!  : )

Its bee a busy day so look forward to a nice relaxing evening.  I might even have some ice cream.

Hope your day has been a happy one and you smiled often.

Kerri - I'm reading Drums of Autumn by Diana Gabaldon, book number 4 in the outlander series.   I'll be getting the next Louise Penny book very soon too.

Teenagers can be thoughtful. You'll have to show us your train cookies when you bake them.
