Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Tuesday

Springtime along a path I used to walk back in 2012
The temperature warmed up to 32 but it rained some and this morning it was wet on top of ice.  Doesn't make for good outside walking so once again I had to walk my 6 miles in the house.

The rest of the day we had a few snow showers and then it got really foggy.

Bowling day again.  Not great bowling scores but fun anyway.  Five of us today.
Scores today were:
118, 131, and 116
Ken throwing a strike ball.
Me, missing my spare.
After bowling we did some Walmart shopping.
A fun day just not much to write about today.  I still have to do my exercise tape and then it I can relax and do a little reading, watching a bit of television and of course eating some ice cream - chocolate chip mint.  : )

A happy day to you.

Melanie - We have saved two puzzles that we out together.  One of birds and one of cows.  Check them out here.

Deb - Yes, we usually just do jigsaw puzzles in the winter.

Bowling is such fun. I remember when I bowled in a league. It seems ages and ages ago. I don't know if I could get the ball down the middle of the alley now. Lovely walk with the lavender flowering bush! Have a lovely evening.

Seeing that tree in bloom is making me yearn for the spring flowers to return.
It was fun to see you and Ken in action.
Enjoy that ice cream. My favorite flavor :).

That's a small bowling place, reminds me of the one in Greer South Carolina called Peach Bowl Lanes

Your floors must be worn out by all your walking indoors, hope the weather improves for you soon. You did manage to have fun with your friends though and some retail therapy :)
That shrub looks amazing. Spring is not too far away :)

Love the spring photo at the top. We were not able to walk outside yesterday either with all the snow we received but are back to outside walking today.
Wonderful quote today!

Oh I remember that path that you used to walk. I think I remember them all. The ones you walk now are very nice. Do you have a favorite? I suppose that you might miss the lake.
