Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

No walk

☀     ☀     ☀     ☀
I can't believe I didn't wake up until 7:45 this morning.  Since I was meeting the ladies for a morning of working on baby blankets I didn't have time to go for a walk.  : (
But I enjoyed working on the blankets and there were 10 of us there this morning.
This is the blanket I'm working on.
In the afternoon Ken and I went up to Happy Trails to have a look around.  Haven't been up there for a while.  Even though the weather has been warm, it's been wet so still couldn't get any work done.  Ken had worked on the siding the last time he was there alone.  He started on the front and put in the fake window on the front.  Sure looks real though.
We walked around a bit and so I got a little walking in.  I'll have to go for an extra long walk tomorrow.

Hope your day was a happy one.

BettyC - wow that's a lot of eagles.  I used to see them once in a while at Centennial Lake when I walked there.

No walk! Glad you can do that occasionally in the interests of other things. I would let certain social things pre-empt my walk too, or my blog post for that matter, as you may have noticed. Cabin is looking fabulous!

I am making my first blanket with pin looms, loving your colours on the baby blanket. I am abit selfish at the moment and making it for myself. Only started in November/December with the looms.

The cabin is looking good! Your walk pics in two previous posts are excellent, as always. Your new camera is sure doing a fine job for you.

That's a pretty blanket. I've never thought of a fake window.

Wow, your cabin is looking adorable! I was shocked to see "no walk" on your blog, but it's nice to sleep in sometimes, and that blanket looks really good! Happy weaving!
