The changing sky

I don't usually post pictures of my walk on Sunday but this morning the sky was amazing and so diverse and changed so fast.  I took the morning moon picture first but all the rest were taken within 15 minutes.  I couldn't pick a favorite so posted them all. It was awesome to be out there looking at the sky and these pictures doesn't due it justice.

And God made two great lights;
the greater light to rule the day,
and the lesser light to rule the night:
he made the stars also.

And God set them in the firmament of the heaven
to give light upon the earth,

And to rule over the day and over the night,
and to divide the light from the darkness:
and God saw that it was good.
Genesis 1:16, 17 and 18

A blessed Sunday to you.

  5. Lovely sky shots. We never seem to get good shots of the moon, not enough zoom or oomph from our little camera.

  7. In truth, the two lights are really one. Moonlight is reflected sunlight, kinda like a flashlight hitting a mirror and it bouncing in a different direction.
