Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Day Fifteen of Thanks

Giving Thanks Post Day Fifteen
Pastor Leatherman

And I will give you pastors according to mine heart,
which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
Jeremiah 3:15
I am so thankful for our Pastor, Pastor Leatherman.
He is a man of God who lives what he preaches.
He is not just the preacher but a pastor
who cares about all of us.
Always there to listen and help in any way he can.
I consider him a good friend.

He teaches the Bible and
I learn something each time I hear him preach.

You cannot leave our church without knowing how to get to heaven
and having the opportunity for someone to show you right from
the Bible how you can know for sure you're going to heaven.

Pastor is very enthusiastic in everything he does
but most of all in winning souls for Jesus.

He is a fine man and I am proud to call him my Pastor and friend.
One day when he stands before God
he will hear Him say, "Well done thou good and faithful servant."

Thank you Pastor Leatherman
I appreciate all that you do
And I like your jokes too. : )

To have a good Pastor is worth so much. I am blessed to have a Pastor who preaches God's Word and then lives it out as well.

Wonderful tribute to your pastor. A good one is worth their weight in gold and it sounds like you've got a treasure. I certainly appreciate mine too. Have a blessed day.

Amen! It's a special gift to be a pastor, not just a preacher. You are truly blessed :) God is good!

I'm glad he tells jokes! I think i'd say something similar about our minister.

Thank you so much Karen. You and Ken are so very dear to our hearts. As this man's wife, I cannot agree with you more, he is all that and more. Very well stated.

Does that mean that he doesn't tell groaners? Because my pastors do... Ha! I still appreciate them, though and have known them both for nearly forty years!
