Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Choir

☁          ☁

I sang in the church choir yesterday morning and it was great fun.  For a little while I get to pretend that I can sing. : )  Ken has joined the choir too.
Never did make it back to church in the evening because yesterday morning at church I had the start of a headache which got worse and worse and by the time we were back home at 1:00 it was really bad and I went to bed.  Ended up being sick and spending some time in the bathroom.  Then back to bed.  This morning I woke up and I am fine once again. : )  I don't get migraine headaches but I think that must have been one of them.  Hope it's the last one too.

This morning it was 40 degrees with some fog around but the sun was out too.  Since it was pretty dark at first, I walked around town by the streetlights.  I'm looking forward to getting the time back to normal in a few weeks.

Walked around both cemeteries and the ball park loop too.

The man was out walking his two little dogs again.

I haven't found any coins yet this month.
Walked 5.2 miles.

Monday and another bowling day.  Only 5 of us today.  No one bowled very well but we still had fun.  My scores this week were 100, 109 and 99.
Afterwards we went to Pizza Hut for eats.

I washed the two dining room windows for a test.  I wet both window with just water.  Then wiped one down with the Norex cloth and the other with a Walmart micro fiber cloth.  So far both look just as good but I have to wait until the morning when the sun is shinning in for the final result.  Tune it tomorrow for the results.

Just the regular evening at home.
Hope your day has been a good one.

I'm surely sorry to hear about that migraine...for that certainly sounds as if that is what you had. I'm glad to know that you woke up this morning feel well. The bowling sounds like fun...and YAY for you and Ken both singing in the choir now! :)

I'm glad you are feeling better! Maybe you had a quick flu bug. Happy times, singing in the choir!

I'm glad you are feeling better. Your pictures are stunning, as usual. I'll bet you sing beautifully and one of these days you will be telling us about your solo.

Sure hope you are feeling better. I have had migraines a few times in my life - once a few months ago, I got one so bad I got sick to my stomach as well. I am not sure what causes them, but I am glad I don't get them much. I am sure glad you are feeling better. You inspire me - I may think about joining our church choir once my voice is completely back to normal now that my sinus infection is gone. When I sing, I still sound a bit scratchy so maybe in a couple of weeks, I'll be back to normal! Have a great week.

I am glad you are feeling better, I get the migraines and they are awful. Singing in the choir sounds like fun! I should talk hubby into bowling one day, I have not bowled in years. Have a happy day!

I like your "Nobody's perfect" quote. Sorry to hear about the headache, but glad it's over. I came home from jury duty with my first experience of a migraine (years ago). I like to sing, but don't go public with it! LOL Glad you enjoyed it.

Sorry to hear about your migraine and glad it is over now. I can sympathise as I suffered from migraine/chronic persistent headaches for 40 years which only stopped when I was given amytriptiline for my arthritis. Good to hear you are enjoying the singing. I believe everybody can sing, it just takes some a little longer to get there.

So happy to hear that you got to sing in the choir... and Ken did too.
I am sorry to hear about your headache. I have never had a migraine, but they sound awful. My son's girlfriend gets them often. I feel so bad for her. I hope it will be a one time experience for you. Pretty fall pictures from your walk.

From reading posts for the last few days, I can see that you are feeling much better, and I am glad of that. Being sick is no fun! Enjoy your time in the choir. I sang in the chorus in High School and always enjoyed it, and I love hearing a good choir singing.
