Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Bowling Monday

☀     ☀     ☀     ☀
Left the house this morning on my walk at 7:10 and it was 31 degrees.  When the sun came over the mountain there were no clouds to block those nice warm rays.  : )

Walked around town this morning and a little way up Sale Barn road to see the cows but they weren't anywhere to be seen.  But I did see the horses down by the Drane house.  I've started calling one Star because of the white star on his head.  He came over by the fence so I could pet him.  The other horse there has a star too but also has a white foot.  The three other horses are now on the other side of the barn in a field.

Walked the two cemeteries and the loop by the ball park and the runner is still running his 5 loops around it.

Walked 5.4 miles.
Found a penny. : )

Right after breakfast I baked another batch of chocolate chip cookies.  We have our 6 month dentist checkup tomorrow and wanted to have some cookies to take to everyone in the office.

Did a few other things around the house and then we left for our day of bowling.  These Monday's sure come around fast!!  There were eight of us and today my scores were not so bad and I even picked up a 6 7 split.  Nice to see that 6 pin go sliding across to get the 7.  : )
Scores today were 102, 117, and 127 in that order.
Afterwards we ate at Denny's and I had blueberry pancakes.

Now for a nice evening at home.
Hope your day has been a happy one.

Great to hear of those improving bowling scores! The week-ends fairly fly by, and that means Mondays come quickly, too! You have a wonderful collection of quotes!

I went bowling today too. I did like 88 and 94 I think. Bad day for me. We tried out a new bowling place (for us) and that usually happens

Love your end quote. i only went bowling when helping with the youth group and my scores were not memorable. But it was fun.
