Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself;
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today.
I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet.
I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it.

God is Good

O give thanks unto the Lord:
for He is good;
for His mercy endureth for ever.
I Chronicles 16:34

For thou, Lord art good, and ready to forgive;
and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
Psalm 25:8

The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble;
and He knoweth them that trust in him.
Nahum 1:7

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
and into His courts with praise:
be thankful unto Him, and bless His name.
For the Lord is good:
His mercy is everlasting:
and His truth endureth to all generations.
Psalm 100:4 & 5

A blessed Sunday to you my friends.
God is Good and loves you.

Today is Pastor Leatherman's 22nd anniversary as Pastor of our church.
We feel blessed to be part of this church and so thankful that
God led us to this church 2 years ago when we moved here.
Him and his wife Kathy are such a blessing to us.
Thank you Pastor and Kathy
and congratulations.  : )
God Bless You.

  3. I am interested in your walking..... how long does it take you most days, when you walk between 5 and 6 miles? And do you ever get blisters on your feet? You are an inspiration to me, and have motivated me to start walking again. I have done it in the past but never farther than a mile or a mile and a half at a time. I do wonder about the blisters.....
    Thanks for the info!
