Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Queen Anne's Lace

✿     ✿     ✿     ✿
This morning it was a warm 70 degrees and cloudy.  About a mile from home a light misty rain started but later in the morning the sun came out.

I walked the Farm Loop and the loop around town.
Joyce was out walking this morning to Hartman's to get her coffee.

I met a woman on the FL named Elaine who is visiting her father who owns the farm with the red barn I take lots of pictures of.
I've met her brother Eric before who lives in a house on the farm too and does most the work on the farm now that their dad is 91 years old.

I saw Mike out taking his morning walk too.

There were three deer in one of the fields but were too far away to get a good picture of.

I walked 5.5 miles.

We met 5 of our friends at the bowling lanes in Keyser again for another 3 games of bowling.  Today was not a good day bowling wise for me.  Me three games were 74, 95, and 109 in that order.  But still it was fun.  We plan to go again next week.

On the way home we stopped in La Vale and did a little shopping at Martins.  Right down the street from there they are building an Aldi Grocery store and I look forward to when it is open and we can check it out.  I've heard they have good prices.

Stopped home to unpack the groceries and then got back in the car and went to Brenda's for some pizza for supper.

Down in Keyser it was 92 degrees but back home it was only 78.
 It's been happy, busy day.
Hope your day as been a happy one too.

It was a quiet, warm and humid day. I am glad for another Canadian High coming in after tomorrow. That red barn really is very "photogenic."

Pretty Queen Ann's Lace and barns shots. It was a hot day here, I walked on my treadmill. We checked out the Aldi store in Lakeland Florida to see the prices, they seem very reasonable. Have a happy Tuesday!

Very pretty picture of the Queen Anne's Lace. I imagine the butterflies love it there.
I think you will like Aldi. We have one in town and the prices are great. The selection isn't as big as a regular grocery, but there are deals to be found.

Love the angle that you took the Queen Ann's lace from! The old barn in the background is a perfect setting for it.

Aldi has a lot of great buys.

Have a great day!

It's been very hot here the last couple of days. We're expecting rain and a cool-down tonight. I'm going to write an e-mail to you. Please look for it. MJ

I've always liked Queen Anne's Lace. I know it is considered a weed, but I like it. I am glad that your day was happy and fun.

Aldi grocery store is so wonderful -- we used to shop there weekly when we had a store near us. Your temps sound SO pleasant. I wish it were that cool here!
