The moth with eyes - A Polyphemus Moth - tip to tip about 5 inches long.
✿ ✿ ✿ ✿This morning it was 64 degrees with a breeze which kept it nice and cool. A mix of sun and clouds. My walk yesterday the temperature was 56. Maybe that is why I was able to get such a close up of the moth above.
Walked to the post office first to mail off a card and then walked all around town up and down all the streets including around the cemeteries.
Passed by the day care center where the big friendly orange cat lives.
I walked 5.5 miles.
No coins today but yesterday I found a dime.
✿ ✿ ✿ ✿After a pancake breakfast we headed up to Happy Trails. Just stayed up in the morning so didn't get that much done - part of the side wall. This corner will be the kitchen area in the cabin. As you can see I'll have a window which will be over the sink.
The sun has come late this afternoon again and Ken is outside now getting the grill started. We have the old fashioned kind that uses charcoal. Supper tonight will be hot sausages and baked beans.
So that's been my day so far.
Hope your day has been a happy one.
happyone : )

and you are turning six again.

Kerri - Thanks for the identification of the butterfly. Happy Trails is now 21 acres.
Linda - We hope to have the roof and outside of the cabin done by winter. We can always finish up the inside when the weather turns cold. We will work on the cabin as much as we can. It has been so rainy lately that it is hard to get the work done faster.
