Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Happy New Year

Just a quick post today.  Spent the day getting reading for tomorrow.  Got all my cleaning done and spent a lot of the day in the kitchen.  Ken has been a great help and tomorrow things should go smoothly.
A picture of the kitchen where the planning and preparing has begun.
I'll take pictures tomorrow of the food all set out because once people start coming I'll probably forget all about taking pictures.

Soon it will be supper time and then off to church we go.  A short service will be followed by food and fun in the fellowship hall.

HAPPY NEW YEAR MY FRIENDS
I wish you much happiness, good health, and a thankful and happy heart.

Happy New Year to you and yours and all the best for 2015. I always smile when I read posts from other parts of the world and people are going off to bed on the eve of a big holiday and we are having lunch on the big day. (I hope that makes sense). As I write this it is 8:20 pm on New Years Day and we are settling down for the evening. 2015 is well and truly here in our part of the world.

Have a wonderful day with your family,
Diana
