Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Another snowy day

I walked in the falling snow around the farm loop this morning and around town too.  It was 25 degrees and just a little breezy.  I wore my new rain pants and stayed nice and dry.
It was beautiful, calm, peaceful and the snow makes it seem quieter than usual.  What a joy it is to be able to get out and take a walk.
I didn't see any one else out.  I had the morning beauty all to myself.
I walked 6.2 miles - 12,292 steps.

The gift I received last night is this snowman ornament that was tucked inside
a cute snowman mug (the hat comes off.)

A nice cozy day at home today.  I had hot chocolate in my new mug and it tasted ever so good.  I added a few marshmallow too. : )

I got some reading done, worked on my counted cross stitch, and finished decorating the tree with tinsel.  Hard to get a good picture because of the glare from the window.

It's been snowing all day with a bit of sleet in there too.  Supposed to turn back to all snow during the night.

I'm off to eat my supper in just a little while.  Ken is making us nachos.  : )

A happy day to you my friends.

Your tree is very pretty and reminds me of our Christmas trees when I was a child. We always had tinsel. Your early morning snow scene is amazing. It looks so peaceful.
Have a good weekend!

Cute mug! Cute ornament, too. Well, I must say that you do a wonderful job with the tinsel. You are obviously very patient!

I've got to get working on our tree! Hopefully tomorrow!:-) Just like Scarlett O'Hara!:-)

I love your ornament and mug! I'd say a new mug made that hot chocolate taste much better!

It poured here in Richmond. Your snow is pretty, and I like walking in it, too. Lovely Christmas tree. Art

I love tinsel on a tree. Too bad I can't have that. The first Christmas that I picked tinsel out of my cat's butt made me realize that tInsel and I could no longer be friends. (Sorry for the image, but that is the truth.)
