Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself;
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today.
I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet.
I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it.

New Month New Verse

 Since it is the beginning of a new month we have a new Bible verse at church to memorize for this month.  An easy one this time - I already know it. : )

Psalms 19:14
Let the words of my mouth,
and the meditation of my heart,
be acceptable in thy sight,
Oh Lord,
my strength, and my redeemer.

Mary Jo went with us to church this morning.  It was nice having her along.  I miss sitting with her at church and listening to her sing beside me.  She has such a pretty voice. : )

Having a great visit with Mary Jo.  Leaving in a little while for the cookout.  It is a bit cloudy but hoping for no rain.

Have a great Sunday.
