Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Prayer

Today at church Pastor preached on prayer.

Mark 11:24
Therefor I say unto you.
What things soever ye desire,
when ye pray,
believe that ye receive them,
and ye shall have them.

Matthew 21:22
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer,
believing,
ye shall receive.

2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people,
which are called by my name,
shall humble themselves,
and pray,
and seek my face,
and turn from their wicked ways,
then I will hear from heaven,
and forgive their sin
and heal their land.

Pray for a specific thing.
Pray with a great desire.
Believe that your prayer will be answered.
God will hear and answer your prayer.

I pray that people reading my blog will have the joy of knowing Jesus.
May you have a blessed day.

Your pastor did have a good message, simple and true.
Our pastor asked me what the Sunday School lesson was about. At first I panicked, but then I was able to remember and tell him.
Phew!!! MJ

Just wanted to know I'm still enjoying your blog, although I rarely comment.
My pastor's sermon yesterday was on "The Four Faces of Jesus", an interesting Bible study. in Matt., king; in Mark servant; in Luke, man; in John, God.
Your "Babbling Brook" reminds me of a little stream on our farm. It was usually dry, so I named it Seldom Run
