Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Not long now

Our days are still mostly sunny and pretty and then one part of the day it gets dark and the sky opens up and pours down buckets of rain and then once again the sun comes out.  Its been like that for so many days in a row I've lost count.

Enjoying my walk around town each morning.  My neighbor cows and bulls were down by the road as I walked passed today so stopped and took a picture of this guy because he was the closet one to me.
I see lots of rabbits around here too and this one was eating grass on the side of the road.  He stopped as I walked passed and let me take his picture.
Yesterday we went for a ride to Johnstown, Pa and on the way there we stopped to take a look at this old covered bridge.  We drove over it a couple of times and got out to take some pictures of it.  Walked over it a couple of times too.

We haven't been doing very much work at Happy Trails and things are getting over grown pretty fast.  We are just keeping the driveways clear and later today will walk it again with the chain saw and do some more cutting.  Lots of little trees bending  low over the drive just need to be cut down.

Only 4 more trailer nights to go!!
Won't be long now before we can start the move into the house.  Sure will be nice to get back to a routine again.  We are stopping over at the house when we leave the library in a little while.  Have to pick up some mail and Michelle lets me walk around the house. : )

Hope your day is sunny and bright.

Soon soon soon you will move. Your area is so beautiful with the green everywhere, the cows and that darling covered bridge. Your header photo with its green makes me want to walk there.

Oh. That quote could go either way... Ha!

She lets you walk around the house? She sounds like a very friendly gal. The gal who bought my former house came over to visit my son and his family while John and I were there. We didn't speak. Terrible, right? I did smile...a little.

I love how you keep finding more and more great "finds," in the area of your new home. :-)

Same weather here! Rain, sun, rain, sun, rain, sun...... I prefer it to alllll rain, or allll sun, though.

Happy New Moon!

How nice that you have a good enough relationship with these people that you can park your car in the drive way and walk around the house. Really, it walked into a gem for sure.
