Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Leaving tomorrow

I walked around the lake this morning but didn't really see it because I walked with a friend and we talked the whole way around.  Her name is Diane and she usually runs but she hurt her leg so had to walk.  If she wasn't walking with me she would have run so I kept her from running. : )  I didn't take any pictures!!!
I walked 6.2 miles.

All the inspections are finished with the house and things are now moving smoothly. The television is down off the wall and the wall patched up and I will be taking the TV in the back of my car. We just have to pack up what's left of the food, our mattress, two chairs and our computers.

Tomorrow while I walk around the lake for the last time (and I will walk alone) Ken will load the truck.  Then not long after that we will be off.  Ken driving the truck and me in my car.

Not sure how often I'll get to blog until we are in the house which will be July 12 so my blogging time may be sporadic.

So till next time
enjoy your day and be happy.
happyone : )
God's plan is better than anything
we could ever dream up.

Now that is the truth! You'll be in my thoughts. Enjoy the last night in your "in-between" home and your walk around the lake. Take care now...

This time is rather bittersweet, isn't it? I will miss your daily updates. If I ever need input for successful moving, I know who to call.:-) Sending wishes for safe travels!

So glad to hear that your move is going so smoothly. I 'll miss your lake reports but I 'm sure you will find interesting trails at your new place too. Hope everything goes well.

I guess I am still in sad denial. So sorry to see you moving away. But I understand how wonderful this will be for you - it is a great move. Hoping you won't forget us when you are back in the area.

We will be meeting in Panera's at Dobbin so don't forget that when you are back in the area.

Good Luck. I would like to see it filled with your kids and grandkids. You have not mentioned them in awhile.

You will be cooler up there. That's a very good thing since it's in the 90's here! MJ
