Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Thanks, Baby 3 and one side finished

Thank you every one for all the Happy Birthday wishes.  : )

Before walking down into town again this morning I checked out the Bird Nest.  All three eggs have hatched.  It's early in the morning here and they are all sleeping.  Mom flew off when I came to see.  Both mom and dad take the babies food and they are Robins.
I just walked around here and there around town and passed by our future home again. This road I walked down in town is one block over from the main road.
I saw another walker and said hi and asked if she walked often.  She told me she was just getting back to walking after winter.

As I was walking I heard something buzzing around my head and it went under the bill of my ball cap.  I went to shoo it away and whatever it was stung me on my eyebrow.  I don't know what it was but it sure did sting for a while!

I walked 5 miles.

The first half of the roof shed is now finished.  I took this picture walking up the hill.
Tomorrow we will do the second half.  If we don't get it finished before we have to leave we will just put a tarp over that half.  Here is a picture with the 2 x 4's already on it.  Just have to put on the metal panels.
In the back corner we put the first of the boxes in it. They are under the roof but we put a tarp on them just in case it rains.
Here is where we sit and take a break.
It was another sunny day and warm in the 80's like yesterday, though now sitting in McDonald's parking lot it is raining like crazy.  Sure glad we put that tarp on our stuff.

That's it from Happy Trails for today.
Hope you day was bright and sunny.
Happyone : )

Ouch! I'm sorry you had that sting!

You have been making excellent progress on the shed. Too bad you are having rain at this point. Perhaps there will be a break for you to continue your work tomorrow.

Yes, it was a sunny day here, though there is rain in the forecast for the week-end.

How exciting to see those three baby birds! I wonder how long they will be in the nest before they are able to fly away on their own.

Take care!

Hope that nasty insect got his. Looks as if you're participating in Barn Charm with that artsy angle. Well done! And already meeting walkers...excellent!

Sounds like a yellow jacket. No fun at all. The shed is coming along nicely. Have a great weekend. Art

I am so sorry you got stung. If it is any consolation the insect usually dies after stinging someone.

You two are really doing a great job on the building.

Lovely to meet another walker.

Not lovely, to meet a biting bug. -pout-

You have accomplished so much. You must be thrilled.
