Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

For Sale Sign

I got up a bit earlier then usual and walked around the lake.  Such a pretty sunny morning.  Quite a few people up and out early.

More bunnies out today and a few deer.  I saw the first baby geese of the season swimming around the lake with their mom and dad.  There were 5 babies but they were all a little too far away to get a good picture.

The second half of my walk I was talking on the phone to my mom and step dad so I wasn't paying much attention to what I was seeing.  As a result I wasn't thinking of taking pictures.  It's a good thing I don't drive and talk on the phone!!!

I walked 6 miles.

At 9:00 the guy with the For Sale came and put the sign in the yard.  He dug a hole, put the post in in the ground, and painted it so it looks brand new.  Then hung the sign on.  I sat out on the stoop and talked to him the whole time.
He left, Ken got back from HT a little bit after that.
Then a little before 10 the realtor's husband Jack came by and took loads of pictures and a video of the house.  They will look through the pictures and should have everything up on line by tomorrow.
Now we just have to have someone fall in love with the house and buy it. : )

I lost my camera some place in the house for a while.  I put things away in drawers for the pictures and couldn't remember which one.  Ken thought that was pretty funny. : )
I was wrapping up a package for the mail and couldn't find the tape dispenser either.  Then while looking for the tape I found my camera and eventually the tape dispenser was found too.

Just got back from mailing a package and now I'm going to finish the book I'm reading - just about 20 more pages to go.

We will be going out for pizza later for supper. : )
Hope your Friday is filled with sunshine.
Happyone : )

Things seem to be moving along very well for you. Funny about "losing" your camera.:-) If I happen to put something "away," I am NEVER able to find it.:-)

Funny story about losing your camera and the tape dispenser. That so sounds like me. The other morning, I almost put the milk in the cupboard after putting it on my cereal! Wow, I love your town house! It really does remind me on the one my daughter and family used to live in while they lived in Virginia. It was such a nice, well-designed place. I am sure you will find a seller quickly! Enjoy your weekend!

Now you're starting to sound like me; losing things! I know the house looks beautiful and you will have lots of folks looking at it. I imagine it will sell quickly.

Love your quote "Faith makes things possible, it does not make them easy." MJ

Hi Karen, Looks like things are moving in the right direction in your lives... Hope the townhouse sells quickly.. Bet it will!!!

IF your house sells quickly, is there any possibility of getting into the new one early? I'm sure all of those things will work out for you two. Congrats!!!

We just got home from a week at Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina. Had a fabulous time....

Happy Mother's Day.
Hugs,
