Cause me to hear Thy loving kindness in the morning;
for in Thee do I trust:
cause me to know the way wherein I should walk
for I lift up my soul unto Thee.

A mouse

All the snow was gone from the side walks so I could see where the icy spots were.  So nice to get back to my walk after missing yesterday.
A chilly 18 degrees but no wind.  I walked around the lake, saw the sun come up but then it got cloudy by the time I was back home.
The usual amount of people around the lake for a Monday.  I think we are all getting used to the cold morning temperatures and it isn't keeping people from being outside.
Its been warming up in the 30's during the day and the ice is gone from the lake which make the geese happy.
Didn't see any deer or other wildlife except for birds.

I found my first coin for the month - a penny.
Steps on my walk were 12,530.

I've been getting used to my new computer and like it a lot except for one thing.  I chose to have the track pad instead of a mouse and don't like it so this morning we went back to the Apple store and traded the track pad in for a mouse.  I like that  much better.

Ken has moved his office from down in the basement to the other little bedroom upstairs next to mine.  It's like we're both at work in our cubicles. : )

I've been doing a little reading and a general cleaning.  Still seems like Ken just has a day off.  I guess it will take a little bit of time before it really sinks in.

Hope your Monday is a good one.
Till next time......
Have a happy day.

  1. Yes, when his vacation is over...two weeks???...you'll know that he's really home. I figured that you'd walk for hours today having missed yesterday.

  2. I am about to go to the store for a wireless mouse for this computer, too. This HP has Windows 8, and either the computer itself, or Windows 8 both have minds of their own! I'm glad you are better pleased with the change to the mouse.

  4. I'm glad you could get out and check on the geese again today. I imagine they wondered where you were.
Working in your cubicles is fun as long as you don't have to do it!
    Have a good week. MJ

  5. 18 degrees is pretty cold from my vantage point...you are pretty tough. I think I would also prefer a mouse for the computer. Nice pictures of the lake. Enjoy your evening and see you tomorrow!

  6. Ohhhhh I can't stand those track pads! I can't, I can't, I can't! -grin-

    MUST-HAVE-MOUSE!

But the wire-less, fancy, "shmansy" mouse, which came with my iMac, mmmmmm...... DOES things, on its own!

No of course not. I made some sort of an unknown movement, with it. But since what I did, was an _unknown_-to-me-movement, it seems like the mouse just had a mind of its own.... Now and then.

There is something about sideways movements.....................

Wonder if you will have any of such? Hope not. But, please do tell me is you do. "Misery loves company." -gigggggles-

  7. I have both a track pad and a mouse and use the mouse about 99% of the time... Three finger scrolling on the trackpad is nice --but that's about all I do with it..

How does it feel to have hubby home now? How does he feel? I'm sure you both will love his retirement.

    Hugs,
    Betsy
