Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Thursday

We had rain last night but by this morning it stopped so no rain for my walk.  It was 35 degrees, a bit breezy at times and cloudy.
I walked one of my connect the path routes.
There were quite a few people out this morning along the paths and the sidewalks.  A couple bike riders too.
I counted 5 deer and I got to see a fox.  I don't see one all that often and when I do it is a treat.  This one had a nice thick looking coat of fur and looked very healthy.  I wish I could have gotten a picture of him. I saw quite a few cardinals and some gray cat birds as well.

So nice to be out walking and I walked 6.3 miles.
Found 6 lucky pennies!! : )

I usually go to the commissary on Wednesday but didn't make it there yesterday so went today instead.   There were more people there today than on Wednesdays and I did have to wait on line, but not very long.
The sun finally came out and it was nice to be out in the sunshine driving my car.  It's cool out but it's supposed to get warmer for the weekend.

Home this afternoon doing stuff around the house.  Later in the afternoon I'll have my reading and knitting time.
I think today would be a good day to go out and get pizza for supper.   I'm sure Ken will agree!! : )

So till next time,  hang in there and try to find your happiness today.

Sounds like a wonderful day!
You inspire me to get out walking again too :)

What a treat to see the fox.
I know that there are folks that worry about them getting their hens, etc.. but I still adore them.

I certainly LOVE the quote!
I have a friend right now, that for some un-known reason, will not return my phone calls, and I've wondered if we ever were true friends to begin with.
I'll hope that one day, she'll give me a call :)

Enjoy this day!

Sounds like a good morning for walking. It's been a good day here. I did some shopping at Trader Joe's and had chorus rehearsal. My husband played golf and did some fishing.

Have a good Thursday evening!

Sounds like a nice day. We see foxes every once in a while around here. Always a thrill to see them.
Hope you got your pizza last night.

Wow, you sure see a lot of wildlife, Karen - more than I do on my hikes (although you haven't seen a bear lately - ha, ha!). Seeing a fox is always a treat.

To the comment one of your readers made - a true friend would ALWAYS return a call. Art

I'm late getting here, because it was a ding-dang week. Ugh....

But I'm cruising around in blog land again. I will not let anything take My Fun Of Blogging away from me. -pout- "Auntie" sezzzzzz... :-)

That's a true comment. Sometimes those who flatter themselves at being the most open-minded are the ones who are the most intolerant of all. I know a few of them...terribly unpleasant folks.
