Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A quick post

We woke up to a misty rain and wind this morning up at Happy Trails.  Slept in a bit because it was really dark and didn't want to go walking yet.  We had breakfast and then I headed out the door with my umbrella and walked my into town route.  Got pretty wet but my upper body stayed dried.
I walked 5.8 miles - a little less than usual.

The leaves are beautiful up this way.  Took a couple of pictures but don't have the cable with me to download them.

We went to Lowes while it was raining to pick up some more building supplies and now as we sit in MacDonald's parking lot the sun has started to come out so off we go to get some work done. : )

Hope your enjoying your Saturday.

Vee - I don't get baseball cap hair because I gather my hair up and make a pony tail and put it though the hole in the cap.  Then tuck the pony tail up in the hat.  Keeps my hair pretty good. : )

It is bright sunshiny and chilly here. We had the rain on Thursday and now it is just plain cold!

It's rainy and cold here. Hope that you were able to make hay while the sun was out. Looking forward to seeing the foliage.

I look forward to seeing the beautiful fall foliage at Happy Trails.
Hope the rain subsides so that you can accomplish all that you had planned.
Sunny and beautiful here today, but supposed to get much cooler tomorrow.
I sat on my patio and cross stitched this afternoon. Discovered that I can see much better outside :).
