Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

No sign yet

A nice cool crisp morning walk today with a temperature of 46 degrees.  On these cool mornings it always feels good when the sun finally comes up to warm things up a bit.  This is great walking weather and I am enjoying it while it lasts.
I walked around the lake.
Not many people out but it is Monday which is usually a light day.
Lots of rabbits all along the path - I started counting them but there were so many I quite counting.
I saw the heron fly low over the water which always amazes me and I stop to watch.
There is only the frame left from this bench.  We must be getting a new one.
Today I walked 6.4 miles.

I was home during the day just doing stuff around the house.
Spent some time in the kitchen getting supper ready early and so I just had to put it in the oven later on.  I like meals that I can make ahead like that.  It works good too because Ken doesn't have any one time that he gets home from work so it's hard to plan a meal time.

I never did start reading The House at Riverton like I planned this weekend but did start it today.  Just into the first few pages and I already like it. : )

After supper we went over to the old house to see if the For Sale sign was out yet and I was disappointed to see that it wasn't there.  I'll go by tomorrow after knitting to see.
While we were there I raked up some leaves from the back yard and Ken did a little touch up of paint here and there.

Just the usual evening home - a little television and some ice cream.  Not so exciting but nice all the same. : )

Hope you smiled often today. : )

It sounds like you had a great day. The weather was so wonderful. I thought about you on your walk and how much you love this weather.

I hope the sign is up tomorrow. I think the house will sell quickly.

Perhaps tomorrow...
"They" sure do take good care of your walking path always doing something for upkeep. That's really nice.

-chuckle- Just the frame, of that bench, makes a cute Photo Op!

Oh I think that to prepare dinner early, is about the nicest thing anyone can do! When it's in a crock pot for instance, it smells delicious all day long... To add to the wisdom of doing this.

And being able to just pop a casserole in the oven, when it's time to eat, is delightful too!!!

Please! We don't want EXCITING happenings (in our lives)! We WANT nice and normal and comfortable. Oh yes! Oh yes! Oh yes! :-)

Having dinner ready early in the day is such a good feeling. It's nice not to have to have it hanging over your head all day.
Hope that sign goes up soon.
