Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself;
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today.
I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet.
I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it.

Happy Easter

Mark 16:6 and 7
But he said to them,
Do not be alarmed.
You seek Jesus of Nazareth,
who was crucified.
He is risen!
He is not here.
See the place where they laid Him.
But go,
tell His disciples -
and Peter -
that He is going before you into Galilee;
there you will see Him as He said to you.

I've always liked the part of the Easter story when one of the two criminals being crucified with Jesus says to the other one,
Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation?  And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.Then he said to Jesus, Lord remember me when You come into Your kingdom.
And Jesus said to him, Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.
Luke 23:40-43

I feel such joy and thankfulness in my heart knowing that Jesus died for me so that I may have eternal life.  What a gift!! : )
My one wish would be that you all know Jesus as I do.
Jesus is why I am Happyone.

A very Happy Easter to you all.
Happyone : )

  2. Happy Easter week to you.
    I was blessed this morning to be able to teach the Easter lesson to the children's class. We actually read the resurrection passages in the four gospels.
    It is a shame how ignorant people, even Christians, are today of the Bible. So they read it at least once today!

  3. Mark 16:6-7 is what my pastor preached today. What a message! Hope your Resurrection Sunday has been wonderful. As you said, there is no joy that can compare to knowing Jesus, and that he died and arose again for our sins, so that we can have eternal life.
