Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A VERY short walk

The temperature was 32 degrees with a light rain coming down.  I waited until it was light out before attempting to walk.  Everything just looked wet so I put on my rain pants and yellow slicker and left for my walk.  At first it seemed fine but I slipped two times on icy spots, so I came back home after only walking a quarter of a mile.  No walking for me today. :-(
But I am excited about painting! :-)  So I'm going to make some pancakes for my breakfast and then get started.
I'll be back later with pictures of my pink loft.
Have a great day.
Happyone :-)

I am excited to see the fruits of your labor. I love your font and the background is so stylish! Love you Karen!

It's got to be at least 40 degrees for me to venture out, other than in a vehicle. And when it was 40 the other day, it was windy...or it was raining...I can always find a "reason" not to go out. Two snows are in the forecast for us this coming week. But--I heard a sparrow singing this morning, and the doves have begun to chase each other...hopeful signs of Spring...about 43 more days to go...

The sun was too moody today here. It was a cloudy afternoon as well...waiting for the pics

Oh I hope to remember to stop back by in search of the pink loft. Don't spill the paint, though. Did you see what happened this week to Melissa at The Inspired Room? Oh dear!

So sad that you had to turn back -- but you're so wise to do so.

Today was a real good day to paint!
