Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Sunday

Sunrise 6:50
Sunset 4:45
This morning I walked straight down the road turned right and walked to the little Wet Land Pond, around it, and then back home.  Very few people out.  Didn't see anyone until I was walking around the pond and that was a man fishing.  Saw a few people on the way home.  The only wildlife I saw were birds and they must have been happy because they sure were singing some beautiful songs.
The sky was beautiful this morning.  It was another cool crisp sunny morning.  I just love these mornings.
I walked 6.5 miles.
Found a lucky penny. :-)

Since it is Sunday and I just got back from church a little bit ago,
My Giving Thanks Day Number 14
is that I'm thankful for my church.
I started going to this church last year when life wasn't going so great for me.
Though God has always been part of my life I had stopped going to church years ago.
I would pass this church all the time and each time I passed it
something kept saying you should go there and check it out.
One Sunday morning I did, it was like coming home again.
I thank God every day for leading me to this wonderful church.
I took a couple of pictures of the church for you Helen.

Ken had to go to work today so I'm home this afternoon on my own.  I intend to have a nice relaxing day and not to any work at all.  I'm going to knit and finish reading my book.

A blessed Sunday to you.
Happyone :-)
Let us remember that,
as much as been given us,
much will be expected from us,
and that true homage comes from the heart
as well as from the lips,
and shows itself in deeds.

That's a nice Church, but the people make it special don't they, it's so nice when you feel like it's home.
