Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

No Cavities!!

A great trip to the dentist.  My cleaning went well and nothing else needs to be done. That makes me happy!  Now I'm set until February.  A good way to make sure you do a good job each time you brush and floss is to pretend you are going to the dentist. :-)  I usually bake chocolate chip cookies and bring them to my dentist but I didn't make time to do that.  I felt bad not bringing any.  Maybe I'll bake them one day soon and just take them in.

While going through boxes I came across this book that my daughter wrote in school when she was 10 years old all about herself.  I forgot I even had it.
It was a fill in the blanks and here are a few of them.
If I could be any person in the world for a day I would be
My mom because I want to see how her life is.

If I could change one thing about my family I would
Make my parents make me go to the movies every night.
If I always complain
My mom get grouchy.
Favorite Smells
Sweet flowers, when my mom bakes cakes.

After supper Ken and I went to Rita's and had our snacks there tonight.  I had vanilla and cherry.  He had chocolate and vanilla.
Watched New Tricks this evening.  Another hour or so until bedtime and I'm going to go and watch a little television with Ken.

Pleasant dreams all!
Happyone :-)

Now that's a good report. I love those little books the kids made. I just found the recipe for a mom written by my son. He tossed in a half cup of grumpy, which has given me pause. Ha!

Congratulations on the good report from the dentist. Congratulations, too, on finding the book made by your daughter. Things like that get more precious with each passing year.
