Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A nice sunny day

Ken went to work early this morning and I was wide awake after he got up so I got up early too and was out of the house walking by 6:00. A nice warm morning and I watched the sun come up as I walked. I also saw the moon.I walked the usual 6 miles around the lake and saw quite a few people out early. The usual animals were about as well and I saw the Heron too. A Mallard duck couple were way up the path away from the water.
This picture I just took because I like the trail the airplane left. It looks like it's going straight up.I was up on the path leaving the lake and spotted my walking friend Jeannie down below (the lake is down between the grass and the trees) near the water and zoomed way in and took this picture of her. Tomorrow morning I'll tell her I took her picture.

I went out again today just because it was so nice out and I wanted to drive my car. I went to the bank and then to the library. Just wanted to drop off a couple of books because I still have two at home to read but you wouldn't be wrong if you knew I wouldn't be able to do that. So I have two more sitting here now waiting to be read. The only problem is deciding which book I want to read first! I also have a book on hold and I'm number 2 on the list.

Boy did the clothes dry fast on the line today. I think they dried faster outside today than they would have in the dryer. Some things were dry even before the next load was done. I got ALL the laundry done! I didn't do the ironing though. That will be for tomorrow.

Tonight was my Bible study group again. This week was the DVD. I like how we watch the DVD one week and then break down into smaller groups the next week to discuss it. It would be a bit much doing both in one week. This way we get two weeks to do the homework too. I am really enjoying this group and get so much out of it. :-)

I enjoyed this sunny day and I hope you did too!

I enjoyed your sunny-day photos. I drove from Breckenridge to Denver in snow last evening and woke to a wet snow on the ground in the city this morning. However, it is melting (thankfully) fast! Yes, I think your daughter would enjoy the Botanic Garden. She should probably wait a couple weeks though until more is blooming. (Unless she decides to get a membership so she can go anytime.)

Aren't we happy that we have sunshine again. We finally made it through it through this past sloppy winter?

I'm slowly ploughing my way through the mountain of washing Romas brought home from university, (he has to pay to use the washers at uni). I only wish it would dry quickly. The sun is shining but we need some wind to get things dry or they have to go back over the range. No tumble drier in this house. Enjoy all that lovely sunshine and warmth.

I bet those clothes dried quickly! In addition to the warmth, the humidity has been so low there's a brush fire alert for our area. Amazing! I don't think I've ever seen one of those before.

That sounds like a Beth Moore study ~ I've done a couple like that. I like it much better when they take it slow ~ DVD one week ~ group the next.

Yesterday was a lovely day and I did enjoy it even if I was getting ready for guests for supper. I opened the French doors and enjoyed the warmth, birdsong, and in the evening the peepers sang to us. It's always calming to read about your day. Always.

Gosh that's a beautiful sunrise photo. There's even a bit of reflection in the water.

Sounds like you had a wonderful day. Were the clothes drying on the line because it was so windy? We have had an awful lot of wind here.

Your Bible study group sounds like it has a great teaching approach. Glad you are enjoying it.

Great pictures from your early morning walk.
If I were to hang clothes outside here they would be covered in pollen. It is windy today and I could see a big yellow cloud out the window. On closer inspection I discovered it was the pollen blowing around. We are supposed to get rain later. I hope it will wash it all away.
