Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

At Home

Since I didn't make pancakes over the weekend, I made some for my breakfast this morning. Then I put the makings of Mexican Meatloaf in the slow cooker for supper. The nice about the slow cooker is you can get supper going first thing in the morning and then don't have to worry about it. Supper comes around and it's already cooked. :-)

I just hung around the house getting a few things done. It ended up being a sunny but windy day but not too windy that I couldn't hang my clothes out to dry.
I did a couple of crossword puzzles. I don't do them often but every now and then I get the urge.

This evening we watched a little television and had cookies for my snack. Got a little knitting done too and when I get done here I'll go and read for a while.

That's is for today.
Hope all went well for you today.
Happyone :-)

You might have to post the Mexican meatloaf recipe! Great that the egrets are now at the lake.
