Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Luke

Luke 2:15 & 16

So it was, then the angels had gone away from them into heaven,
that the shepherds said to one another,
"Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass,
which the Lord has made known to us."

And they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph,
and the Babe lying in a manager.

In this busy time of shopping and getting ready for Christmas, lets not forget that Jesus is the reason we celebrate Christmas.

Enjoy your Sunday.
Karen :-)

I really love the Nativity story in Luke. We really do need to keep the true meaning of Christmas in mind as we get busy with all our holiday activities. Thanks for the reminder.

We have had 2 nativity plays at our Church this week and they are so lovely, the Christmas story is still so relevant. In the UK there are people who want to change the word Christmas to Wintermas and take Christ out of Christmas...well not in my house!
