Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Changes

Not a great day for me. My life has changed somewhat for a while but I'm hoping it will be back to normal again soon.

I kept busy today. Started the day with my usual morning walk, and had pancakes for my breakfast. I topped them off with some whipped cream. :-)

I decided to change the living room furniture around and gave the room a good cleaning which took up a good part of the day. Didn't move the book shelves or television, but everything thing else got a new location. I do enjoy a change every so often. It must run in the family because my mother and both of my kids are the same way too.

I had time to read quite a lot of my book and I also knitted. I watched an episode of Touch of Frost and had four chocolate chip cookies for my snack. I've decided NOT to watch any more of In Treatment. It's a pretty depressing show and I'm not even crazy about any of the people.

I think I'll go and do some more reading now.
I hope you enjoyed your Saturday.
Happyone :-)

I'm so sorry to hear that you didn't have a good day and hope that things change for the best.

It also sounds like you had a busy day with all that furniture moving. Change is good for the soul sometimes - a stepping stone to brighter days.

My prayers for you are on the way, my friend! Rest well tonight!

My happy friend....I will say a little prayer for you tonight so things will be back to normal for you very soon. Sometimes the little ups and downs of our lives help us to stay focused on what's really important....even though we'd much rather have the ups than the downs. Big hugs.

Hi HappyOne - I hope that today is happier and that whatever is going on your life right now, it will just be a little speedbump. Art

Sorry to hear that you weren't having a great day. I sincerely hope things get back to normal for you soon. You will be in my thoughts.

I understand about moving things around in the house. I find it to be therapeutic. Sometimes changing things around a bit can give me a fresh outlook on my day.

Thanks for your honesty and for being so open. Sometimes we have to work hard and as you say, trust that normalcy will return. There's a reason for everything, don't you think? Hang in there. xoxo. Bon
P.S. I have your soap dish :-) Can't wait to give it to you.
