Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A foggy morning today as I walked around the lake. But by the time I got back home the sun was shining.
If you enlarge the picture you will be able to see a couple
of geese on the water.

This beautiful butterfly posed for me on the sidewalk as I passed by.
I thought of you Carla when I saw it. :-)

I made us pancakes for breakfast today and then we went over AGAIN to the old house. Everything that we want is OUT of the house. We had no intention of renting out the house but we are considering it now. Some one who Ken works with is looking for a house to rent in Dec for at least a year. She loves the area and likes to garden. So we shall see. It would be nice to get some income from it while waiting for the house prices to go up some more.

Still working on the car puzzle. Here's what we have done so far.

I downloaded my third and last audio book that my daughter gave me for Mother's Day. This time I got Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. I've read it a few times and thought it would be nice to listen to it too. :-)
I'm still reading Pillars of the Earth and I'm not even half done with it yet. It's very good but I just haven't spent much time reading lately. I'll probably have to renew it.

Remember me telling you about the nail in my tire? Here it is! I didn't know Ken took a picture of it until today.
Hope you all had a happy Friday. This is Ken's last day of vacation - at least he still has the weekend.
Till next time......
Happyone :-)

I was not aware that it was foggy this morning! Still adjusting to Eastern time... It would be a relief, I bet, to have someone living in your old home and taking care of it.

Oh look at that nasty little bugger of a nail! No good deed goes unpunished as they say. Sounds as if renting might be an excellent way to go...especially if you rent with an option to buy. She may fall in love with the house!

What a beautiful butterfly, I have never seen one like it. Maybe good news about the old house, it would save you alot of work I expect.

You've gotten another wonderful foggy morning picture. You have a great eye. I really like your observation about the ark and the Titanic -- I hadn't heard that before.
