Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Psalms

And the rain continues - another wet walk this morning. Walking along the paths with everything wet and green, I felt like I was in a rain forest. It was nice listening to the rain on my umbrella. I do long for some sunshine though. :-) Happy Sunday! A few verses from the book of Psalms this week.
Psalms 40:1-3 1. I waited patiently for God to help me; then he listened and heard my cry. 2. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out from the bog and the mire, and set my feet on a hard, firm path and steadied me as I walked along. 3. He has given me a new song to sing, of praises to our God. Now many will hear of the glorious things he did for me, and stand in awe before the Lord, and put their trust in him.
Enjoy your day and have a blessed Sunday. Happyone :-)

Still rain? Wishing you some sunshine, but I'm sure that you and Ken know how to create some today. I always look forward to how you spent your day and evening. Wonderful, comforting verses from Psalms, too.

Happy Sunday! We will see sunshine soon, I hope. I have taken a week off physical stuff since my half-marathon but can no longer justify that, so I would just as soon be done with this rain, too. Art
