Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

New ceiling fans

Once again it was a rainy morning for walking, but I had my umbrella this time so didn't get wet. We had a good start to this Saturday having pancakes for breakfast with syrup and a little whipped cream!! We went out and about today doing errands, one of which was buying ceiling fans at Home Depot. We got one for the living room and one for our bedroom. When our house was built they put the wiring in the ceiling for these so it made the job a lot easier for Ken to do. He got it done without having to say any bad words!! :-)
The before
and the after.
The fan for the bedroom will be done another day.
We made two stops at the library because we forgot a couple of magazines that were due and had to go back again. I picked up a book that I had on hold. Once again I've got three books started and I'm listening to an audio book. We stopped in at the Chevy dealer down off Route 29 to see the new Camaro. It kind of reminds me of a Mustang! Of course I don't think it compares to my Vette. :-) We watched another episode of The House of Eliott for our viewing pleasure this evening and ate chocolate chip cookies (4). I also did a bit of knitting. I hope your Saturday was a day of happiness. Happyone :-)

Those ceiling fans will come in handy as the weather warms up. I'm impressed by how many books you can be reading at once. We had a little rain today while I was busy planting some pots for my patio. It felt good as I was getting a bit warm out there.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Sounds like a busy day of this and that. Another rainy day, huh? It sounds like it's just starting to pour. I like the sound of it. I'd rather have rain.

Yup, those fans are great...don't care for the look of mine, but I wouldn't be without them. Yours looks great!

Ceiling fans are wonderful -- really help make the unit's efficiency in both summer and winter.
