Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Green grass - a bright blue sky

A nice sunny walk this morning after a few days of rainy walks, but oh the wind!!
This bench sits at the end of one of the paths.
This is the little shopping center that is across the street from where I live and I'm on my way home here and took this picture. I think the trees look so pretty against the bright blue sky. Late morning we made a trip to the airport to pick up our daughter Debbi, who was away this past week on a business trip. It's nice to have her safely back in town again. Remember that fence? Today it is upstairs in our bedroom and is now being used as the headboard for our bed. It still needs some final touches so I won't post a picture yet. It was harder getting it up two flights of stairs and into our bedroom than it was to bring it home!! Since we worked hard we thought we deserved to go out to eat. You'll never guess what we had! Pizza :-) On the way home we stopped in Weis and brought home some for ice cream for snack time. We made a trip to the library and came home with a couple of DVD's to watch about Niagara Falls. We will watch one of them and then who knows - the evening is still young. Hope your Saturday was filled with sunshine. Happyone :-)

No sunshine except for the sunshine of visiting blogs...speaking of which, yours is looking exceptionally lovely these days!

Beautiful day here as well, cool start and breezy but so nice to be out running and walking. Lots of gorgeous spring colors.

We have a saying in the UK that the 'March winds do blow' and then the 'April Showers'
We are having the April showers now but not too bad. That seat looks a good halfway point.

Life sounds good. I just read the Lowe's story. So very strange. I can't wait to see the headboard.

Looks like a perfect spring morning today. I bet you had a great walk :)

Spring has sprung but mother nature has sent some more cold. I bet it's REALLY cold there.
