Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Trust in the Lord

Although I am usually happy, I still have times when I'm not. When I feel worried or down about something I remember part of a song I sang in Sunday school when I was little. Trust in the Lord And don't despair. He is a friend so true. No matter what your troubles are, Jesus will see you through. This always seems to brighten things up for me. :-)
Psalm 25:4 & 5
Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. May you all have a blessed Sunday!

Sorry you feel down. Hope what ever caused it is soon resolved. I, too, remember this song - it plays in my mind often.

I gave your meatloaf recipe to Harry and he made it last evening. It was really good. When Harry decides to cook I try to find really simple recipes for him. I get clean-up duty and if the recipe is complicated it takes me hours to get the kitchen "back in order." Thanks for sharing.

I hope your mood brightened. You know what a yo-yo my life is these days. Thank goodness for tomorrow is my saying. I'm glad you have your faith to lift you when you're down.

I don't think anyone can be happy all the time. Into every life some rain must fall!

I'm not spiritually strong but after this weekend I was so glad to see you here. I'm glad you're back.
